Likes & DislikesPlayers love the way in which this game is a timeless classic and is simple enough to set up and play.It’s a still a game that looks great and plays brilliantly and as it is suitable for such a young age, it is great for families.However, some players have found that although the rules are simple, the game could be considered difficult to play for some younger children.As with many newer versions of old classics the details may differ or even the quality, which are important to many people. Putting the stickers on the characters and them falling off has been a common issue mentioned to us, and the lack of quality compared to the older versions.

I grew up playing Stratego, and this is the same game that I remember. The game is strategic and fast, and is one we like to play multiple times in one sitting. As a board game reviewer, I get to play a lot of wonderful games with fun, new mechanics and great themes, but Stratego is a classic that will always have a place at our table.

Final ThoughtsThis is a game that really has grown through the ages. A quick game that requires strategy, memory yet is easy to play, ensures that it still continues to appeal to many.

Stratego board game is and OK game for me personally, but it does seem to lack more mechanisms and length play alongside other factors, although this is just my likes. For those that like battlefield short play gaming then I can see the appeal. I would play it again if someone come around and wanted to give it a go but, it would not be the first game of choice to pull out. AN UNDO BUTTON!!! I know that sounds like something I shouldn’t have put in all capitals and maybe I shouldn’t have but i’ve made some plans playing the game and as i’m about to hit the square i want to move to I accidentally hit the square i didn’t want to hit and instead of it takeing me 1 turn to get to the square i want it takes 3!#2.

I love doing campaigns on here they’re really fun like “napoleon’s waterloo” or “the fall of baron” and my thing is there are only 2 i think there should be atleast 4! And when i want to redo the campaign i push next and it doesn’t even give me the next battle!#3. Again about campaigns I don’t like how they criticize you after you did your best to win! Especially in “napoleon’s waterloo” napoleon criticizes you like CRAZY becase you try your best to win and then you lose then he pops up and says “my plan was flawless you just didn’t execute it properly” or something really annoying.so i’d like for you to consider these changes and please fix atleast 1 or 2 of themThank you.
