Ducktales Remastered

Gave it a 7.8 out of 10, calling it 'A worthy sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'A great salute to old, late-night horror movies.' They particularly praised the 'outrageous 360-degree shoot-em-up action' and detailed, cartoony graphics.

Submitted on 9/25/2016 Review title of DRACULA 2600A Classic game, updated difficult to Awesome!!!One of the most notoriously difficult classic NES games has been overhauled and updated with a dash of Awesomeness. Awesome The graphics have been updated to match the early 90's TV feel, the sound still retains an 8-bit inspired soundtrack.
The controls have been updated to offer a degree ease for this generation of gamers while the option of the original, difficult, Down+B(X) is still available which allows everyone to have access to the often too-frustrating-for-words gameplay that only classic NES games can offer. So Break out your Rose-Colored Nostalgia goggles and enjoy this classic. In all seriousnes. Beating this game back in the day was redonkulous.
Also this game comes with a bunch of 'Replay-it-if-you-wanna' achievements that tack on concept art unlockables via spending your money-bin earnings to unlock these items. Being a completionist will earn you achievement, but even Scrooge won't deny what Glomgoldian sell-out, you'll feel like afterward. Submitted on 8/10/2016 Review title of TonyNostalgic Game awesome and Lotz of FunDuctales re mastered is an awesome nostalgic game. The graphics are phenomenal as it features the original cartoon scenery with a touch of HD. The voice cast features the original voice cast from the tv show with Mr Alan Young on hes last time voicing scrooge. The only tiny minor detail i found is when theres dialog the character the nod and the dont move their mouth, but hearing the original voices makes up for that. If youre a fan or grew up during Disney magical era the this game is a must have.
I hope capcom makes a sequel just as awesome. Submitted on 3/31/2017 Review title of billybeaver86This Game Ducking Rocks!!!What can I say about DuckTales: Remastered that hasn't already been said? I was PONDering if I should get this game, and boy did I make the right call. Scrooge slams home his classic and witty one-liners that always seem to QUACK me up. The graphics are more visually appealing than the intro sequence from an episode of DRAKE & Josh. A music score filled with sweet nostalgia reminds me of all my favorite MALLARDies from the original game. The excellent quality of gameplay sure does fit the BILL.
FEATHER you're a returning player to the DuckTales series or this is you're first time, you can bet you'll have a good experience. WADDLE you waiting for? Buy this game! Submitted on 7/1/2017 Review title of l am Ultra ManVideo game magicI never played the original Ducktales for the NES, but I don't think it's entirely necessary to after having played this gem.
From the crisp cartoon style game animation, to the very well written and even better performed voice acting, plus a fun and memorable soundtrack (including the original 8-bit soundtrack), fluid game controls, tons of hidden items in each level, and a difficulty modifier for both young and seasoned gamers makes this game well worth the purchase. A very strong element of this game is that it allows you to use the various treasures collected throughout the game to unlock everything from early concept art, to images from the TV show, and even the entire original soundtrack from the original Ducktales game which you can switch to in-game! This remastered version pays a huge homage to gamers who experienced it as children, while also creating a fun, challenging, and truly memorable experience for those who have not.
Easily a 5 star rating. Submitted on 5/7/2019 Review title of PanzrammerGreat remaster; doesn't include original but.Plays like the original but a little more smooth except you can choose to make the pogo jump simpler or keep it like before. Cutscenes are added in, game is made to look more like the cartoon and the audio is enhanced. The one negative is that it does not have the original included but otherwise, it's really good. If you want the original version (original flaws & all), you can get it plus the sequel and a few other games in The Disney Afternoon Collection.
As of writing this review, it's only about $5 (on sale).
