Yeargan, Most underrated card game on the App StoreI have been playing game of heroes for 2 years now and I’ve loved it. As somebody who plays games constantly, this has been one of my favorite phone games. If you’re into a fun, engaging, fresh, and in depth card and collection game, this is a must play. While I love the game, I cannot deny that the game has a few problems.

The events, while very fun and full of content, are extremely hard to get to 1st on the leaderboard unless you want to no-life it or spend upwards of 40 dollars a week on all of the heroes just to compete with the other players with the master hero for that week. The packs and vaults are very expensive unless you have the VIP pass which is 30 dollars a month. And if you don’t want to spend a dime on a phone game, good luck getting the best gear and cards for the event.

However, you can save up to buy the packs and vaults and get a lot of the content. And the events are engaging, full of new content, and the cards and gear are very good and satisfying to get. Other than the micro-transactions, this game is incredibly made. It’s surprisingly in depth and at times even complicated for a phone game. The artwork is very well done, the cards and gear are satisfying to use and obtain, the updates are every day at 8 and there’s so much content that you could spend much of your day just competing it.

I highly recommend this game to anybody wanting a new card game. Good work dev’s! Nividica, Well DoneGotta say, I really love playing. Have run into some glitches here and there, but they are always quick to get them sorted and provide in-game compensation for any missed or incomplete-able content. And I do find it can be very taxing on the iPhone 6 battery, especially with the volume turned up.The last update brought some awesome QOL features that I really appreciate, especially hero ability queuing.

I do hope they bring some customization to the notifications in a future update.The game picks up at rank 15, which unlocks events. You will spend ranks 1 to 15 getting familiar with the mechanics and acquiring gems. I highly recommend holding onto the gems until you can do events. Between events, the daily dungeon, pvp, guild wars, the gear dungeon, the main campaign and more, there is a ton of content to experience.For those who don’t mind to spend a few bucks there is the hero pass and elite hero pass that can help you along the way and I highly recommend getting them at the “new player” prices. While absolutely not required, it can be fun to splurge on a few extra packs for that chance at additional hero’s.

For me throwing a few bucks their way to say “Good Job” was a no brainer.There is a lot to enjoy from the game both in mechanics and artwork, but do expect to loose a few hours of your day having fun battling away!
